Overview
Switchyard ("we", "us", "our") operates the switchyard.cloud website and the Switchyard platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account or join our waitlist, we collect your email address. If you sign up via OAuth (e.g., GitHub), we receive your name, email, and avatar URL from the identity provider.
Usage data
We collect anonymized analytics about how you use our website and platform, including pages visited, features used, and performance metrics. We do not use third-party tracking scripts that follow you across other websites.
Source code and proprietary data
We do not collect, store, transmit, or access your source code. The Switchyard Relay runs on your infrastructure. Source code, API keys, git credentials, and execution traces remain on your servers at all times. The control plane receives only metadata: task status, step counts, token usage, and costs.
How we use your information
- To operate and improve the Switchyard platform
- To send you transactional emails (account notifications, service updates)
- To send you marketing emails if you opted in (early access list, product updates)
- To respond to your support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Email communications
If you join our early access waitlist, you will receive occasional emails about Switchyard. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time and we will stop sending marketing emails within 10 business days.
Data processors
We use the following services to operate Switchyard:
- Cloudflare — Website hosting, edge delivery, DNS
- Supabase — Authentication
- Resend — Marketing email delivery
- Postmark — Transactional email delivery
- Stripe — Payment processing
Each processor is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or unsubscribe from our waitlist, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. All data at rest is encrypted. API keys on the relay are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website.
